‘THE PLAY-OFF’… Celebrity Football Match On Prostate Cancer Awareness Mr Universe Nigeria Finalists




Qhue Concepts, organizers of Mr. Universe Nigeria has strategically repositioned its most anticipated and super celebrated pageant contest with the introduction of a celebrity football matchbetween its contestants and 11 special celebrities tagged the ‘PlayOff’.


The ‘PLAYOFF’ is a creative blend of football, Music, networking and community development. 

The charity football match is also a movement platform for role models to relate with fans who would love to see and experience a different aspect of their talent and skills as a source of inspiration to be all they can be.

The first edition of this event which held on 21st October at the Ocean Crest Football Pitch in Lekki witnessed an All-Star team of A-list celebrities engage the Mr Universe Nigeria contestants in an exciting PlayOff game.

The theme for the event is; “KICKIN AGAINST Prostate Cancer (PC)”

The Mr Universe Nigeria finalists after a hard play 1-1 draw against the top celebrities finally won the match at penalty shoots.

Mr Universe Nigeria 2015 Finalists Drop Their Pants To Support #ProstateCancerAwareness


 The 2015 Edition Of Nigeria's Biggest And Anticipated Pageant, Mr Universe Nigeria Has Been Buzzing Since Mid Year With Various Activities And New Ideas. 

October is officially known as the Breast Cancer Awareness month, but the Mr Universe Nigeria brand is leveraging on that to also direct the eyes of the world towards towards a cancer perculiar to men; Prostate Cancer.

Prostate cancer mainly affects men over the age of 50 and the risk increases with age. The average age for men to be diagnosed with prostate cancer is between 70 and 74 years. Younger men can be affected, but this is rare..

As a build up for the grand finale show, Contestants were tasked in a special photo challenge for a Front Cover Magazine Contest On Prostate Cancer.
